Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Slots / Slots Manager to join their team in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
This is a senior opportunity for a commercially driven slots professional who understands what makes a gaming floor perform — from game selection and machine placement to player engagement, revenue optimisation and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
As Head of Slots, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for the slots operation, ensuring the gaming floor delivers an exceptional player experience while achieving commercial and operational targets.
You will be responsible for analysing performance, optimising the slot portfolio, managing supplier relationships and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and player engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the land-based slots operation and gaming floor.
- Develop and optimise the slot machine portfolio and game mix.
- Analyse performance, revenue, player behaviour and key KPIs to support commercial decision-making.
- Oversee machine placement, floor layout and utilisation to maximise performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with game manufacturers, suppliers and industry partners.
- Identify opportunities for new games, products and technologies that can enhance the player experience.
- Develop and implement promotions and initiatives designed to increase player engagement and revenue.
- Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the operation remains competitive.
- Ensure the slots operation complies with relevant regulatory, compliance and responsible gaming requirements.
- Lead, develop and motivate the slots team to deliver consistently high standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability and overall gaming floor performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior slots management position within a land-based casino or gaming environment.
- Strong understanding of land-based slot operations and casino floor management.
- Demonstrated track record of improving gaming floor performance and revenue.
- Strong commercial, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing relationships with gaming suppliers and manufacturers.
- Strong understanding of player behaviour, game performance and slot optimisation.
- Proven leadership and people-management experience.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong understanding of gaming market trends and player preferences.
- Knowledge of relevant gaming regulations and responsible gaming practices.
