We are representing a leading international sportsbook and gaming operator seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead brand growth, customer acquisition, and retention strategy for the South African market from their Cape Town offices.

What You Will Do:
As Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of the South African marketing strategy, driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand awareness across all marketing channels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for the South African market
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team
- Manage the full marketing mix across digital, social, offline, PR, and sponsorship channels
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Optimise campaign performance using data-driven insights and reporting
- Partner closely with Product teams to align marketing activity with product launches and promotions
- Build and manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, and suppliers
- Monitor marketing effectiveness and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ensure marketing activity supports wider business objectives and commercial targets

We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven marketing leader with strong experience within online betting, gaming, or a related digital industry.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role
- Strong understanding of the South African market and consumer landscape
- Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing, customer acquisition, and retention
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Highly Desirable:
- Experience within online betting, sportsbook, casino, or iGaming
- Passion for sports and sports betting
