The successful candidate will bring deep iGaming and sports betting expertise, strong commercial instinct, and the ability to lead confidently in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment. This role calls for someone who can think strategically, act decisively, and build momentum across every area of the business.
Based in Lagos, Nigeria, the CEO will have end-to-end oversight of the local operation, while working closely with shareholders, senior stakeholders, and cross-border teams to deliver sustainable growth, operational excellence, and market leadership.
Your key job responsibilities will include:
Lead the Business Strategy
- Set and execute the strategic direction of the business in Nigeria
- Drive the next phase of growth with a clear, commercially focused roadmap
- Lead and develop a strong senior team capable of delivering in a competitive environment
- Translate business objectives into practical, measurable plans that move the company forward
Own Strategic Partnerships
- Manage and strengthen relationships with platform providers, suppliers, and third-party partners
- Oversee commercial negotiations, SLAs, service delivery, and partner performance
- Ensure the platform is stable, competitive, localised, and aligned with market expectations
- Work closely with product, technical, and operational partners to support commercial success
Drive Revenue and Market Growth
- Take ownership of revenue generation, profitability, and market share expansion in Nigeria
- Oversee marketing, CRM, acquisition, retention, and promotional strategy
- Identify new commercial opportunities, strategic alliances, and market-facing initiatives
- Keep the business agile and responsive to market shifts, player trends, and competitive activity
Oversee Operations, Compliance and Risk
- Ensure the business operates in full compliance with Nigerian gaming regulations and industry standards
- Oversee AML, KYC, responsible gaming, and broader risk management frameworks
- Partner with legal, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders to maintain a strong and credible operating model
- Manage payment provider relationships and help ensure resilient day-to-day operations
Take Full Commercial and Financial Ownership
- Own the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and overall business performance
- Establish and monitor clear KPIs across commercial, operational, and compliance functions
- Provide regular, high-quality reporting to the Board and shareholders
- Ensure strong governance, reporting discipline, and internal controls across the business
Represent the Business Externally
- Act as the senior face of the business with regulators, partners, investors, and key stakeholders
- Represent the company at industry events, commercial meetings, and strategic discussions
- Help strengthen the companys reputation and long-term position within the iGaming and sports betting sector
The requirements are:
- Senior leadership experience within iGaming, sports betting, online betting, or regulated digital gaming
- A strong track record of leading commercially focused businesses and delivering measurable results
- Proven experience working with white-label platforms and third-party suppliers
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian iGaming and sports betting market, including its regulatory and operational landscape
