A small, energetic producer and marketer of digital embroidery designs have a great job opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness and contributing to the bottom line by leading a team of professionals who develop and execute digital marketing strategies and activities, including company web sites, email marketing campaigns, social media strategy, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) initiatives.

Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Marketing Manager in Cape Town will include:

  • Lead, develop and deliver digital marketing plans
  • Lead and manage business activities for the retail eCommerce business
  • Compile and analyze key performance indicators to forecast needs, oversee inventory, and ensure replenishment needs are met
  • Plan and implement promotions, sales and campaigns to maximize financial
  • Oversee SEO and SEM initiatives, social media channels, and develop and optimize content that increases the company’s internet presence
  • Develop, execute and maintain customer acquisition and retention programs via emailing, social media and customer acquisition campaigns
  • Read and interpret website analytics

Requirements for this Digital Marketing Manager job in Cape Town:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of e-commerce marketing
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Understanding of online marketing principles including SEO and SEM
  • Proficiency with search engines, content management systems, web site design
  • Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML and CSS
  • Understanding of excellent social media practice
  • Ability to set and manage budgets
  • Ability to manage “outsourced” resources such as buying teams, creative agencies, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, AdWords, Tag Manager, Bing PPC, Adobe
  • Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office products
